Van Morrison announces new album ‘Three Chords and the Truth’

He’s written fourteen new tunes for the project

Sir Van Morrison has confirmed details of a new album and shared a brand new single with Jazz FM. This will be his sixth LP in four years - titled ‘Three Chords and the Truth’ featuring all original material and produced by Van himself. That first song is called ‘Dark Night of the Soul’ and out now to buy digitally. Other tracks on the album will include ‘Bags Under my Eyes’ and ‘Nobody in Charge’.

Explaining what it was like to record the album, Van Morrison said: “You’re just plugging into the feeling of it, more the feeling of it… when they’re playing… It’s like reading me. So, I think there’s more of that connection.”
